Five militants surrender in Doda

Jammu, June 25 (UNI) Five militants belonging to various outfits have surrendered before Army at different places in Doda district today.

Two ultras, Bashir Ahmed Shaikh and Mohammad Shafi ali Umar, of Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HUJI), two Hizbul Mujahideen militants, Mohammad Rafi and Javed Ahmed, and Masoor Ahmed Tantry of Muslim Janbaz Force (MJF) laid down their arms in Ramban.

They handed over three AK rifles, one pistol, nine AK magazines, 260 AK ammunition rounds, one UGB, five UGB shells and two Chinese grenades to the Army. Later, they were handed over to the local police.
