Five-member Indian badminton team to play in Pakistan next week

Lucknow, June 25 (UNI) A five-member Indian men's badminton team will leave for Pakistan tomorrow to play three test matches there next week.

According to Badminton Association of India (BAI) joint secretary Vijay Sinha, the team will leave for Pakistan from New Delhi and would play three test matches at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad during their nine-day tour.

The five players selected for the tour are NIkhil Kanetkar, Thomas Kurian, V Diju, Sagar Chopra and Ajai Jairam.

Uttar Pradesh's Davendra Kaushal will be the coach of the team while S A Rawal of Gujarat will be the manager.
