Duplicate CDs worth Rs 4.5 lakh seized, three arrested

Kolhapur, June 25 (UNI) Duplicate CDs worth Rs 4.5 lakh were seized in a raid at four shops at Gandhinagar area in the city's outskirts, late last night, police today said.

Acting on a tip-off that duplicate cassettes and CDs were being sold in four shops, a police team raided the shops and seized duplicate CDs of Bollywood and Hollywood films including pornographic films.

Three persons have been arrested in this connection. They have been identified as Shankar Makhija, Amit Makhija and Deepak Todkar, all residents of Gandhinagar. The fourh person is absconding, police added.
