Chouhan fires broadside at Uma
Jabalpur, June 24 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said his predecessor Uma Bharti's setting October as the deadline, by which she would topple this state's BJP government, was a mere fantasy.
''The time limit is no test for me as Ms Bharti is not my examiner,'' he told journalists yesterday at the Dumna Airport here.
On the investment front, the Chief Minister said a 'Global Destination' summit for NRIs would be organised in Bhopal on January 6 and 7, 2007.
''In view of the healthy production of cane in some areas, establishment of sugarmills is being considered for ensuring more profit for farmers. The government has decided to include a 'Kisan Diwas' (peasants' day) in its calendar,'' he added.
