BJP to launch agitations against price hike: Venkaiah

Thrissur, June 25 (UNI) Former Bharatiya Janata Party national president M Venkaiah Naidu today said the BJP would launch a nation-wide agitation against price hike and scarcity of food from next month onwards.

Mr Naidu, who is here to attend the state executive meeting of the party, told reporters here a committee had been elected to chalk out the action plan for the agitation.

Asked on whether there was any change in the attitude towards minority communities, he said the party would try to solve the misunderstanding among the minorities, if any, about the approach of the BJP towards them. However, he ruled out any change in its Hindutwa agenda.

Mr Naidu said the national leadership was fully happy and satisfied with the functioning of the party in the state and added that the allegations of factionalism was just hyped by media.
