KAMEN, Germany, June 25 (Reuters) Spain coach Luis Aragones tried out a new-look team ahead of his side's match against France when he included skipper Raul and midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the potential starting lineup in training today.

Raul came in at the expense of Liverpool forward Luis Garcia, while 19-year-old Fabregas appeared to get the nod ahead of Brazilian-born midfielder Marcos Senna for Tuesday's showdown.

Aragones made it clear yesterday that he would be fielding more or less the same team that beat Ukraine and Tunisia in their first two group matches, but told journalists that if they watched what he did in training they would be able to work out the team against France.

Fabregas caught the eye earlier this season with his impressive performances against Juventus in the quarter-final of the Champions League when he outplayed former Arsenal team mate Patrick Vieira who is a key figure in the French midfield.

Raul, who celebrates his 29th birthday on the day of the match, has a score to settle with France after missing a last-minute penalty when Spain lost 2-1 to Les Bleus in the quarter-finals of Euro 2000.

The Real Madrid striker is Spain's all-time leading scorer with 44 goals and will make his 99th appearance for the national side if he plays in Tuesday's match in Hanover.
