WJC urges people not to watch 'Da Vinci Code'

Vijayawada, June 23 : The representatives of Warrior of Jesus Christ(WJC) today urged the people not to watch the movie, 'Da Vinci Code' as it hurts the sentiments of Christians WJC Secretary M Prabhat Kumar in a release here alleged that the film was a deliberate and malicious attempt to denigrate their religious feelings.

Mr Kumar also alleged that though India was a secular country, discrimination was shown against the Christians. Article 14 in the Indian Constitution has guaranteed equal rights before Law, he added.

The office-bearers of the WJC, who met recently, resolved to boycott the film, the release added.
