Urs of Sharief Shah celebrated

Jammu, June 23 (UNI) The annual Urs Sharief of Shah Mohammad Farid-ud-Din Sahib Bagdadi was celebrated at Kishtwar with religious fervour.

Thousands of devotees from the district gathered at the shrine of Bagdadi Sahib yesterday to participate in the Urs and offered Darood and Fateha Khawani.

The relics of the great saint Hazarat Shah Mohammed Farid-ud-Din, his sons Hazarat Shah Mohd Akhyar-ud-Din and Hazarat Shah Mohammed Anwar-ud-Bagdadi Sahib were also exhibited.

Eminent scholars also delivered lectures to the congregation.
