Trainer F Sirajuddin fined Rs 20,000

Bangalore, June 23 (UNI) Trainer F Sirajuddin was fined Rs 20,000 by the the Bangalore Turf Club Stipendiary Stewards for using mobile phone in the race course without paying requisite charges.

Sirajuddin was also found using mobile phone in the saddling enclosure during Eleventh Day of Bangalore Summer Meeting on June 17.

The Stewards took the decision after conducting an enquiry and questioning Sirajuddin, according to a BTC release here today.

The Stipendiary Stewards also suspended Jockey M Reuben from riding from June 28 to July Seven (both day's inclusive) for violating instructions regarding mobile phone in the race course (permitted to ride work).
