Three slain by naxals
Jagdalpur, June 23 (UNI) Three persons associated with the 'Salwa Judum' anti-naxal campaign were killed by the rebels in Chhattisgarh's Dantewara district and the corpses dumped near Basaguda Police Station today, police said.
The bodies of Sowed Devdi, Pedke Santosh and Poksoma were found this morning. Poksoma was among three persons abducted from a bus on June 21.
An encounter is underway at Basagauda between security personnel and extremists. Several ultras were observed near the site.
Eleven persons were abducted yesterday in this district and two rice-laden mini-trucks taken away towards Basaguda by insurgents.
