Three caught accepting bribe

Chandigarh, Jun 23 : Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught three officials red handed for accepting illegal gratification.

A spokesmen of the Bureau here today said that Jai Deep, a Patwari was caught for accepting an illegal bribe of Rs 3000.

The Bureau also caught a clerk, Suraj and a Field Officer of Haryana Backward Classes Welfare Corporation, Karnal, Gurmeet Kalra for taking an illegal gratification of Rs 1000 from Mr Tej Pal of village Ogandh for giving him a cheque of loan amounting to Rs 50,000 which he had sought from the Corporation.

He said that cases under Prevention of Corruption Act at police station of the Bureau in Rohtak were registered against all the accused persons.
