Sunita Devi appointed Chief of Bihar Congress women wing

Patna, Jun 23 (UNI) Ms Sunita Devi, MLA, from Korha Assembly segment, has been appointed chairperson of the women's wing of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC).

BPCC Chief Spokesperson Premchandra Mishra told newsmen here today that party chief Sonia Gandhi accepted BPCC President Sadanand Singh's recomendation and gave the green signal for appointing Ms Sunita Devi chief of the women wing of the party in the state.

Mr Mishra said Sunita Devi had already served Congress as Katihar district President and hoped she with her effcient leadership would strengthen the women's wing of the party.
