Seven more refugees land in India

Rameswaram, June 23 (UNI) Seven Sri Lankan Tamil refugees, all members of one family, landed at the Vandakadu Kadarkarai, near here, at noon today.

The family - two men, two women and three boys - arrived by country boat from Jaffna in Sri Lanka.

They said they had fled their homes as they feared for their lives. There were sounds of warfare everywhere, they said.

They were sent to the Mandapam refugee camp.
