ONGC defers prog due to PM's non-arrival
Mangalore, June 23: The foundation stone-laying ceremony of the ONGC's Rs 4,900 crore Refinery Complex was deferred today following Prime Minister Manmohan Singh cancelling his visit to the coastal city due to inclement weather and heavy rain.
Talking to reporters the project venue at Permude in Dakshina Kannada district, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma said ''the programme has been deferred due to non-arrival of the Prime Minister due to inclement weather.'' He did not announce any fresh date.
