Five die, 3 hurt in truck accident

Morena, MP, June 23 : Five labourers were crushed to death and three severely injured after a sand-laden truck, heading for Dholpur in Rajasthan, overturned while negotiating a bend near this district's Badha village, police said.

The lorry, which met with the accident last night, had loaded the sand from the Rithaura village mine.

Mangal Kushwah, Ramesh, Shambhusingh, Dinesh and Rameshwar Kushwah -- all of whom belonged to Dholpur district -- died on the spot while the injured were hospitalised here.

The truck was seized but the driver is absconding.
