Fire breaks out at AIIMS

New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) A fire broke out in the X-Ray room of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the wee hours today.Fire Department said the blaze broke out at 0107 hrs in the x-ray room of the Neurology Department of the Institute.

About 15 fire tenders were sent to the hospital to fight the blaze which was controlled at 0325 hrs. No casualties have been reported.

However, some x-ray machines and other equipments were destroyed in the blaze.

Investigations were on to ascertain the cause of fire.
