BSF shoot dead Bangladeshi cattle lifters

Kolkata, June 23 (UNI) Two unidentified Bangladeshi nationals were shot dead by the Border Security Force at Panitore under Basirhat police station early today.

BSF sources said the two were cattle lifters and were escaping with some cows to Bangladesh in the wee hours. The jawans opened fire when the smugglers ignored their command to halt.

The BSF later informed the police who recovered the bodies.
