ACB conducts raid in official's office, residence

Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh June 23 (UNI) The Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) last night raided the houses of Andhra Pradesh TRANSCO Additional Divisional Engineer (ADE) Y Vishnu, and his relatives and office in the district for possessing assets disproportionate to his income.

The ACB official Madhusudhan Rao said here today that Mr Vishnu's father-in-law at Cheepurupalli and his father owned many properties, companies and an ice-factory under benami names in Srikakulam district.

The property worth Rs 47 lakh was seized and raids were in progress, officials added.
