US would like Iran response by mid-July summit
Budapest, June 22: The United States would like to hear Iran's response to a US-backed offer of incentives by the time of a mid-July summit of major world powers in Russia, the White House said today.
''It would be helpful and useful if we could get a response and know where the Iranians are before those meetings. It would advance the negotiating process,'' White House national security adviser Stephen Hadley told reporters.
