Two members of a family killed in road accident

Ahmedabad, June 22 (UNI) Two members of a family from Vadodara and their relatives from Lucknow were killed as the vehicle in which they were travelling collided head-on against a truck near Bagodra, about 60 km from here today.

Eight other members of the family and the driver of the Qualis escaped with injuries of varying degree. They were returning to Vadodara after visiting various places of tourist interest in Saurashtra region.

Police gave the names of the deceased as Kashinath Shrivastava (70) and Vikas Trilok Shrivastava (40).

The truck driver has fled the scene. Police investigations are on.
