Two found buried after killed by PULF cadres

Imphal, Jun 22 (UNI) Two suspected militants, including a teenager, were found buried after being shot dead by suspected cadres of Peoples United Liberation Front (PULF).

The two persons identified as Md Ekramuddin and Md Iqbal were shot dead on June 17 last at Tamenglong district and two days later their bodies were found.

Police said the bodies were exhumed and handed over to family members yesterday. There seems to be an internal quarrel between the cadres of the outfit which resulted in the firing.

Meanwhile, a boy working at an oil pump was allegedly kidnapped by some unknown persons last evening. In a separate incident a cadre of People's Liberation Army (PLA) was apprehended by Assam Rifles jawans, sources here said.
