Tricom announces 1:1 bonus; declares 20 per cent dividend

Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) The directors of Tricom India Ltd has recommended issue of Bonus shares in sthe ratio of 1:1 along with dividend at the rate of 20 per cent for year ended March 31,2006 on the increased paid up capital of Rs 580.92 lakh in the Board meeting held on June 21,2006.

The Company has shown impressive performance for the financial year 2005-06. During the financial year, the Company achieved a consolidated turnover of Rs 275.96 crore compared to Rs 145.01 crore on the previous year with a consolidated net profit of Rs 94.92 crore compared to Rs 43.58 crore in the last year.The bsic earning per share (EPS) annualised has increased to Rs 20.98 over the previous year of Rs 9.64.The paid up capital of the company as on March 31,2006 stood at Rs 45.23 crore, the release added.
