Three killed, six injured in Kashmir highway accident
Srinagar, June 22 (UNI) At least three person were killed and six others injured in a road accident at Khanabal on the Sriangar- Jammu national highway this afternoon.
Official sources said a Sumo car on way to Sriangar collided with a speeding tipper coming from opposite direction at Khanabal, about 45 km from here.
They said nine people, including driver of the car, were injured in the accident. The injured were admitted to hospital where one of them was declared brought dead.
Two seriously injured succumbed to their wounds in the hospital this evening, the sources said.
There was no tourist or Amarnath piligrim involved in the accident, the sources added.
