Three killed, 51 injured in road accident

Malappuram, Jun 22 (UNI) Three people were killed and 51 seriously injured in a road accident involving three buses at Valayamkulam, near Edappal in the district today.

Police said, the mishap occurred when a private bus proceeding to Kozhikode from Thrissur collided with another bus coming from Kozhikode and overturned.

Meantime, another bus coming from the same direction collided with the overturned bus.

The injured were admitted to various hospitals in Thrissur and Malappuram district, police added.
