Students union stages anti-molestation rally in Mizoram

Aizawl, June 22 (UNI) The Mizo Students' Union (MSU) today staged a protest rally in Talbung in the Western part of Mizoram in protest against an alleged molestation of a student by her computer teacher.

According to police sources, a 22-year old Biswa Dutta sexually molested a class six student of LZM school during computer class on June 17.

The girl suffered injuries, which threw light on the molesation case, the police added.

Angry mob attacked the accused while he went to the victim's house to seek forgiveness, following which he was admitted to the hospital for minor injuries.

Following the complaints, the accused was arrested by the police and booked under IPC 345 and is being given police protection in the hospital.
