Sonia to visit Jaisalmer, Barmer on June 26-27

Jaisalmer, June 22: Congress President Sonia Gandhi would visit Jaisalmer and Barmer districts on June 26-27 to assess the drought relief work at these places.

Ms Gandhi is expected to meet the villagers reeling under extreme drought conditions. State Congress leader Dr B D Kalla, former minister Kamal Beniwal and former MP Sonaram Choudhary will be in Jaisalmer today to prepare for Ms Gandhi's visit.

Ms Gandhi is also expected to take part in different Congress programmes in Jaipur and Banswara.
