Silver, gold close high on strong global advice

Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) Values of gold and silver closed at a firm trend on strong advice from global markets along with some heavy speculative demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 15,400 (15,885), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,845 (8,605), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,900 (8,655).
