Shankar Bidari takes over as ADGP (law and order)

Bangalore, June 22 (UNI) Senior IPS official Shankar Mahadev Bidari today assumed charge as the Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) here today.

This followed the State Government's decision to transfer five top police officials two days ago.

The others who assumed new postings were Messrs Subhash Bharani (ADGP, Internal Security), D P Negi (ADGP, Administration), J V Gaonkar (IGP, KSRP) and Kempaiah (IGP, Grievances and Human Rights), an official release here said today.
