Rupee weak by eleven paise; closes at Rs 46.13/14/USD

Mumbai, June 22: Indian currency today grew weak by eleven paise to close at Rs 46.13/14/US Dollar as compared to the previous close of 45.96/97/US Dollar.

Earlier Rupee opened at Rs 45.94/95/US Dollar and in the mid- morning session traded at 46.00/01. The six month forward Premia was at 1.28 per cent and the one year premia was at 1.31 per cent.

RBI fixed the Reference Rate at Rs 46.01/US Dollar today.

Rupee also fared well against other currencies: Rupee vs Euro was at Rs 57.92, Rupee vs Pound Sterling was at Rs 84.32 and against yen it was up at Rs 39.82.
