Pulse polio drive in Dumka
Dumka, Jun 22 (UNI) The authorities in Jharkhand's Dumka district have made elaborate arrangements for a three-day special drive for pulse polio beginning June 25.
More than two lakh children have been targetted under the drive.
At least 11,790 booths, 140 mobile teams and 39 transit teams would be assigned for the job, deputy commissioner Ajay Kumar Sinha said today adding that not a ''single child'' below five years should be left without polio drops.
Holding a review meeting, Mr Sinha instructed the health department to pull up socks for successful completion of the operation.
