Police constable suspended for dereliction of duty
Ghazipur, June 22 (UNI) A police constable was today suspended and sent to jail for dereliction of duty, that resulted in his service rifle and ammunition getting stolen.
Azad Yadav was put on night duty at Sevrai police outpost on June 20.
However, the constable went to sleep and found his rifle and five cartridges missing when he woke up.
According to police, Yadav and his fellow constable tried to search for the missing firearm and ammunition, but in vain.
Later, a case was registered against Yadav.
