PF commissioner arrested by CBI sleuths

Jamshedpur, June 22 (UNI) Provident Fund Commissioner Pankaj Kumar was today arrested by the Central Bureau of Investgation (CBI) allegedly for accepting a bribe.

Acting on a tip-off, a ten-member CBI team from Ranchi raided the PF office here and caught him red-handed while he was accepting Rs 45,000 cash from a person, who reportedly gave prior information to the investigation team, CBI sources said.

The officer was brought to the state capital after he came under the CBI net, the sources said.
