Munda urges new officers to work for unprivileged

Ranchi, Jun 22 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today appealed to the government officials to dedicate more for the people's cause and said the ''weak and marginalised'' deserved better attention. '' Distributing appointment letters among 64 Deputy Collectors, who qualified the first examination, conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Mr Munda said not only the people, who came to them, should be meted out a proper deal, but also those, who could not come to the government offices, deserved attention.

He advised the new recruits to maintain friendly ambience in the work places.

State Human Resource Development Minister Pradip Yadav also echoed the Chief Minister, saying the officers should try their best to reach to the people to make their appointments meaningful.

Out of 64 Deputy Collectors, 32 would be appointed as Executive Magistrates in different districts and the rest would be trained in administrative training institute.
