Labourer from Bihar killed in factory mishap

Fatehabad, June 22 (UNI) A labourer was killed and another seriously injured following a blast in a boiler in a paperboard factory at Ratia town in the district this morning.

One more labourer was found missing ever since the incident took place.

According to information, a part of the factory also collapsed after the mishap and search was on to find the missing labourer under the debris.

Raghu, a Bihari labourer died on the spot, while Kala Singh was seriously injured and admitted in the local general hospital.

Shiv Lal, another Bihari labourer was found missing after the incident.

The police has registered a case for causing death due to negligence under section 304A of the Indian Penal Code against factory owners Vijay Kumar and Vikas Kumar.
