Kotak life begins operations in Marathwada

Aurangaba (Maharashtra), June 22: Kotak Mahindra old mutual life insurance limited, began its operations in Marathwada region by opening company's branch office here today This is the 49th branch of the Kotak life in the country.

Addresing a press conference after inaugurating company's Aurangabad office, Mr Gaurang Shah, Managing Director, Kotak life insurance said that company keeps a target of rs five crore business in the current financial year from the Marathwada region.

To begin with, the company had started its branch with twenty staff members headed by their Branch Manager Sunil Patil, the staff strength would be enhanced in a phased manner, Mr Shah said.

Marathwada region comprising of eight districts assumes significance due to a great potential for insurance business for the company and the company aims to tap the potentials through its new branch, he added.

Kotak life will offer all its 13 products through its new branch, besides all the new products would be made available simultanously to the customers in the region, he assured.
