Kokat Life begins operations in Marathwada

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, June 22 (UNI) Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited started its operations in the Marathwada region by opening the company's branch office here today.

This is the 49th branch of the Kotak Life in the country.

Briefing reporters after inaugurating the company's office, Kotak Life Insurance Managing Director Gaurang Shah said that the company keeps a target of Rs five crore business in the current financial year from the Marathwada region.

To begin with, the company has started its branch with twenty staff members, which would be enhanced in a phased manner, Mr Shah said.

The Marathwada region, comprising eight districts, assumes significance due to a great potential for the company's insurance business as the company aims to tap the potential through its new branch, he said.

Kotak Life will offer all its 13 products through its new branch, besides all the new products would be made available simultanously to the customers in the region, Mr Shah assured.
