Judicial pay commission recommendations to be implemented:Cab

New Delhi, June 22 (UNI) The government today decided to implement the recommendations of the first National Judicial Pay Commission headed by former Supreme Court Judge Jagannatha Shetty.

The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters.

The proposals of the Law Ministry and the Supreme Court order pertaining to three of the recommendations of the commission were accepted by the Cabinet, he said.
