HPCC appoints 7 vice presidents, 9 general secretaries

Chandigarh, Jun 22 (UNI) The Congress Party today announced the new office bearers of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC).

The acting president Dr Ramprakash, in absence of HPCC president Bhajan Lal, today released the list of seven vice-presidents, nine general secretaries, one treasurer, 22 secretaries, 35 executive committee members and 31 district presidents.

The seven vice-presidents appointed are Rao Dharam Pal, Jaya Prakash (MP), Atma Singh Gill, Chakarvarti Sharma, AC Chowdhary, Mrs Radha Narula and Jagdish Nehra.

Mrs Raj Rani Poonam (MLA), Mrs Asha Sharma,Shyam Chand, Bhopal Bhatti, Sandeep Singh, Anand Singh Dangi (MLA), Prof Chhattarpal (MLA), Phool Chand Dhanak and Ramesh Chander Saini (Journalist) have been appointed general secretaries.

Mr Dalbir Singh Jaglani has been appointed as treasurer of the party, said Dr Ramprakash.

The acting HPCC president informed that out of the total 108 office bearers in the HPCC, 20 are women, 33 are from SC, BC and OBC, while 36 MLAs and MPs have also been adjusted in the newly constituted committee.
