BENSBERG, Germany, June 22 (Reuters) Striker Ahn Jung-hwan said South Korea would look to overcome Switzerland with their high-tempo game in tomorrow 's winner-takes-all World Cup clash.

The Koreans need to beat their Group G rivals to guarantee progressing to the last 16 but could go out with a draw or worse.

Ahn predicted his team's traditional pressure game could rattle the Swiss in Hanover.

''We need to remember the basics,'' he told reporters. ''The players have been drilled well and know the tactics perfectly.

''But if we put them under pressure and play our usual high-tempo game we should be able to get a good result.'' Ahn came off the bench to score the winner in the 2-1 victory over Togo in their opening game. He also netted twice to help the side reach the last four as co-hosts in 2002.

But the 30-year-old was putting team ahead of individual glory and denied he would be upset if coach Dick Advocaat named him among his substitutes again.

''It would be a big honour to score but it's more important the team wins,'' he said.

''I'm not concerned about starting on the bench or not. It's the coach's decision. I just want to help the team.'' Playmaker Park Ji-sung believes Korea's team ethic could be the key to victory.

''Against Switzerland we won't be worrying about any certain player,'' said the midfielder. ''It will be more important to be solid and to play within our system.'' REUTERS DH PC1916
