Fungus and ants found in mineral water bottle

Badwani, MP, June 22 (UNI) A businessman has sent a legal notice to a multinational water company and its regional distributor after ants and fungus were found in a mineral water bottle in this district's Sendhwa town.

Mr Kishore Goyal has written to Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss to caution filmstars from advertising mineral water companies as he had done earlier.

Besides Mr Goyal has written to filmstars, including Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukherjee and Aamir Khan, asking them to either urge the company to maintain quality standards or stop advertising.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Vincet Lakra and Block Health Officer S L Sadiwal confirmed receiving the complaint. Dr Sadiwal said the bottle was sent for tests.

Mr Goyal said he had purchased the bottle from a vendor at Jogwada road yesterday.
