Friends turn foe, man injured after heated soccer debate

Siliguri, June 22 (UNI) A man was seriously injured after four of his enraged friends attacked him when their heated discussion over last night's World Cup match took an ugly turn here.

According to police authorities, Prajan Chetri and his friends were involved in a heated argument over last night's World Cup match which eventually had his enraged friends attacking him with a sharp weapon at Bada Golai under Rongli Rongliet police station.

Police has arrested his friends.

The victim was then rushed to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital where doctors said he suffered a mild brain haemorrhage.
