Agra, June 22 (UNI) Central Reserve Police (CRP) jawans deployed at Taj Mahal will be taught foreign languages including German, Spanish, French, Korean, Chinese and Russian to deal effectively with foreign tourists.

The classes will begin next month, Agra Divisional Commissioner Ashok Kumar said here today.

''The whole idea is to iron out any inconvenience to foreign backpackers during security checks at Taj Mahal,'' he added.

Meanwhile, an 'invisible' security blanket would be put around the world famous monument.

''Since, open security mechanism is visible to all, it can easily be penetrated with deft planning. Therefore, we have decided to throw a discreet security cover around the Taj,'' Mr Kumar informed.

To beef up the existing security net, the number of security barriers have been increased to seven, apart from two optional barriers.

An additional company of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) has been deployed, while two more PAC companies have been requisioned.

The area around Taj Mahal has already been declared a no-fly zone. A proposal to this effect has been sent to the Centre for approval, Mr Kumar told UNI here.

''A recent meeting between high ranking air force officials and district administration has decided to declare the 7.4 km area around Taj Mahal as a no-fly zone,'' he informed.
