Court withhelds salaries of two PS incharge

Patna, Jun 22 (UNI) A local court here today directed Bihar's Director General of Police and senior superintendent of Patna police to withhold salaries of the in-charge of two police stations.

Additional district and sessions judge of Patna Rampravesh Sharma in his order said that salaries of the in-charge of Masaurhi and Bhagwanganj police stations shall be withheld till they produce the accused against whom the court had issued arrest warrant or submit an execution report in the event of failure.

The accused were involved in a masscre of a scheduled caste family at Bhdauratarnd village under Masaurhi police station area of Patna district in 2002.

Patna High Court had ordered the court to expedite hearing in the case on priority basis. Of the two total accused of the case one was resident of Masaurhi police station area and another of Bhagwanganj police station area.
