CITD to organise workshop

Hyderabad, June 22 : The Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) will conduct a workshop on ''Recent Trends in Design and Manufacturing Technology'' on June 27 at its advanced learning centre in Tirupathi.

The workshop is conducted for the students, who are pursuing Degree/Diploma courses in various Engineering and Polytechnic Institutes, a release said here yesterday.

The CITD through its various long-term and short-term programmes, provides training to about 3,000 candidates every year.

The CITD also provides training to international participants sponsored by the Government of India.

The CITD had signed MoU with electronic major, ECIL to conduct programmes in areas like CAD/CAM, CAE and CNC, the release added.
