Jabalpur, June 22 (UNI) The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) today cancelled the transfer of Khargone Central School Principal Shradhha Jha to Bailadila in Chhattisgarh.

Hearing a petition filed by Ms Jha, a division bench comprising CAT Vice-Chairman G C Srivastava and judicial member G Santhappa took the decision.

Petitioner's counsel told the court that Khargone Collector S K Paul, who is also local Vidyalaya administrative committee chairman, had recommended Ms Jha's transfer with malicious intentions.

The Central School Organisation had acted upon the recommendation and effected the transfer.

Mr Sharma said Mr Paul had insulted Ms Jha on several occasions besides indecently behaving with her. Ms Jha had complained about this to the General Administrative Department Principal Secretary and the National Commission for Women.

The petition said the Khargone Collector had recommended the Principal's transfer to take revenge from Ms Jha.

The court cancelled the order of transfer.
