Bullion trader, son shot dead; 900 gms gold looted

Deoria, June 22 (UNI) Armed miscreants shot dead a bullion trader and his son in Bhatni area of the district and later decamped with 900 gms gold.

Police today said Kedarnath Verma and his son were attacked last night. The miscreants fled with about 900 gms of the yellow metal and Rs 30,000 cash.

The victims were rushed to hospital, where they succumbed during treatment.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
