Srinagar, June 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed anguish and shock over the cowardly grenade attack on the house of sufi saint Ahad Saheb at Sopore today, in which two devotees, including a woman, were killed and many other injured.

Mr Azad said with these cowardly acts by the militants, people have not only isolated them but also have started hating them.

He said these brutal and cowardly acts in which innocent people are being killed are unpardonable.

This state, particularly the valley of Kashmir, has remained a seat of great saints, rishis and munis and people respect them from the core of their hearts. The attack, which is being made on them, will ruin the elements responsible for the same.

He said it is a living miracle that Ahad Saheb remained safe in the attack, which further strengthens the belief and faith of people in such a great saint.

He hoped that good sense will prevail over militants so that they stop these brutal activities forever in which innocent people are being killed.

He warned that such elements, who are responsible for these acts, will be identified by people one-by-one and the militants will be brought to justice.

They should read the writing on the wall and stop their 'trade of death' forever, he added.
