Hyderabad, Jun 22 (UNI) With the Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court staying the single judge order quashing the June ten poll notification today, Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy heaved a sigh of relief.

Evenwhile refusing to make a formal comment on the judgement, Dr Reddy who had an informal interaction with mediapersons, plunged them in a peel of laughter, cutting jokes and having a dig at a section of the press for their reports on the fast-approaching Panchayat polls in the state.

As newspersons repeatedly pestered for his reaction, he said the judgement of the bench was unexpected one. So was the one delivered by the Single Judge. ''I will formally speak on it tomorrow,'' he added.

He expressed the hope that the party's poll understanding with the UPA constituent Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) would come through.

With the talks on seat sharing remaining elusive after several rounds, the TRS had given ''B-forms'' to its candidates for more than 100 ZPTC seats as the Congress party was refusing to concede not more than 75 seats, TRS sources said.

Dr Reddy opined that it was primarily the responsibility of each and every citizen to see whether one's name was in the electoral rolls or not.

The administration was taking all steps like making available the voters list in revenue as well as post offices and even informed the public through loud speakers, he said.
