Iran seriously considering nuclear offer: Annan

Geneva, Jun 22: UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan today said that Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki had told him his country was seriously considering an offer of incentives aimed at halting nuclear work.

Annan told a news conference in Geneva after talks with Mottaki that he presumed this included the question of enrichment. ''They are considering the package very, very seriously.''
