ACB unearths disproportionate assets worth Rs 35 lakh

Hyderabad, June 22 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in a raid today unearthed disproportionate assets worth about Rs 35 lakh.

Police said a disproportionate assets case was registered against Yagati Vishnu, Assistant Divisional Engineer, Eastern Power Distribution Company Ltd, Vizianagaram.

Searches were conducted at his house and of his relatives and friends followed by a search at his office in Viziangaram.

The assets were acquired by Vishnu, after joining the service in 1989 as an Assistant Engineer.

The accused would be produced before the III Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum Special Judge.

A case has been registered and an investigation was on, police added.
